Holiday Park Jobs - Jobs on Campsites, Parks and in the Caravan Industry

Jobs on UK campsites include wardens, assistants, maintenance and increasingly sales positions. The smaller sites look for wardens / couple wardens to manage their sites in the season. Life experienced couples are popular with UK recruiters because of the perceived natural affinity they have with the average customer. The assistant jobs are normally the reserve of younger people, students during the holidays and gap year takers. For the winter months there is often security work.

Larger sites employ a wider range of staff and tend to have more of a hierarchical structure. Here you will find Park Manager, Maintenance Foreman and Head of Reception type jobs. The larger sites also have more in the way of facilities and entertainments, all of which needs to be staffed by bar workers, fitness instructors and other such roles. The bigger parks are completely different to work on to the quiet, warden run sites and are not for everyone. However, you may get some good perks such as access to great facilities, NVQs and greater career prospects.
